In the past few months I’ve posted some new This Thing Rules reviews, done a Q&A with Elemental Spark, posted a new Music Video, and wrote a 2-part blog about the tracks on Another Sky (and also added a second keyboard and pedal to my setup so I can start messing with music in all new ways)… But I never took a moment to say “Hey Everyone” and tell you what I’m up to. So here it goes…

Hey Everyone.

First things first, album number three is well under way. Right now it’s 12, very unfinished songs. I’ll be honest with you… I don’t know when it’s going to be done. I don’t know when I’m going to release it. I actually might release something else before I release it. But my big, official follow-up to An Unseen Sky is in the works, and it’s some of the best music I’ve ever made. In many ways it’s a combination of Echoes In the Dark and An Unseen Sky, but it takes everything that made those albums what they are, and goes bigger and further in every direction… That probably makes no sense, but it will. I don’t want to talk too much about it since it could easily be next year before it comes out, but know that it’s coming. And it’s awesome. There will definitely be a music video from it before the end of the year to start getting you all excited… Speaking of music videos… If you haven’t checked out “Forgotten” yet, make sure to check it out. It will melt your brain.

Up next is the thing I’m currently most focused on, a feature-length horror film. It stars and was written by Michael O’Neal who was in my “If Only Tonight I Could Sleep” music video and a bunch of short films that I scored. It’s got a lot of other Las Vegas based people in front of and behind the camera, and it’s really awesome. The score is coming out great so far and the way the film is, it really is giving me a chance to go big, which is fun. I’m really excited for people to see this film.

I also just finished a little bit of music for another feature (also horror), and a short that will be coming out soon.

Aside from all of that, I have three shorts lined up that I’ll be scoring soon, and another feature that I’ll be working on later this year. And I have one more music video I’m hoping to make from An Unseen Sky, sort of a grand finale for that album. And I still have the Virtual Reality version of the “Gravity” Music Video coming from Elemental Spark…

It’s gonna be a busy year guys…
